In his book "Fertility and Physiotherapy", the author describes in an appealing way his journey from a general practicing physiotherapist to today primarily offering physiotherapeutic fertility treatment. She has placed great emphasis on presenting evidence and research for the methods, which she describes in the book and offers clinically.

In her treatment results with sub- and infertility, Anne Marie has found support that it is a combination of teaching reproductive health, individual physiotherapy and mind / body training in groups that gives the best results.

There is a health benefit in combining preventive measures from the care and from the woman / couple themselves. Because when the individual becomes involved and feels important, life and suffering become more understandable, manageable and also meaningful. When we get a context for the suffering we face in life, we can reach health on several levels, physically, mentally, spiritually and socially.

I hope that the book can inspire healthcare professionals in Sweden to collaborate, with openness to different medical directions in the work with infertility, and that those who seek help in healthcare become an obvious and active party in the treatment.
